My name is Alba, and I am a proud immigrant, educator, and founder of Bright Beginnings Bilingual Daycare. I began my career in Colombia as an Occupational Therapist, dedicating over 15 years to working with children and helping them reach their full potential. But when violence in my home country placed my family's life in danger, I made the courageous decision to leave everything behind in search of a safer, brighter future.

Arriving in California was not easy, but it was filled with hope. I came with nothing but the strength of my experience, a deep love for my family, and a powerful desire to rebuild and give back. That journey reignited my passion for education and service, and led me to continue my training and become a preschool teacher, a role I’ve proudly held for more than five years.

Today, I channel my story, my expertise, and my heart into Bright Beginnings Bilingual Daycare, a warm, inclusive, and professional early childhood center where every child is empowered to learn and grow. Rooted in sensory-based learning, and inspired by the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, we provide hands-on experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and meaningful development.

Bright Beginnings is more than just a daycare; it's a labor of love born from resilience, built on compassion, and designed to give every child a strong, confident start in life. As an immigrant, a mother, and an educator, I believe deeply in the power of new beginnings and I'm honored to help children and families create theirs every single day.
