Lidia is a member of the borrowing group MUJERES DE PAZ DE ÑEMBY. She has a cafe in her house. That permits her to generate income to provide for her family of four. She decided to start this business with the objective of being independent and being able to provide for her family. Thanks to the support of the borrowing group, she was able to achieve significant growth in her business. This permitted her to improve her quality of life and to continue ahead with her projects.
Her dreams is to continue expanding her business, making it into a source of employment for other people. Also she aspires to leave a legacy for her children, and to achieve the goal of having a house of her own. That represents for her a symbol of effort and overcoming.
With the current loan, she plans to invest in different cuts of beef, offal, rice, noodles, gnocchi, ravioli, flour, vegetables, condiments, among other products.
Other members of the group sell fruit salad, food, cleaning products; have a beauty salon; among other businesses.
