A loan helped to buy small pigs, chickens, corn, medicine, quintals of rice, cola, water, etc.

Rosa Esdrina's story

Rosa Esdrina and her family live in Sequita de Montecristi, which is a canton known for its famous toquilla straw hats (Panama hats) that are valued both inside and outside of the country. Its residents are also engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Rosa Esdrina sells a few products for daily consumption out of her home, such as rice, cola, water, and noodles. She also raises and sells pigs and chickens. She works every day feeding and caring for her animals. She sells them when they are big and have reached a good weight. The merchants come and buy them alive.

This loan is to buy small pigs, chickens, corn, medicine, quintals of rice, cola, water, etc.
